今天「識花時刻」想與大家分享的是，仙氣飄飄的「泡盛」，學名Astilbe hybrida，屬於虎耳草科，泡盛草屬，原產於東亞與北美，圖中品種為「白泡盛」。
泡盛可以入藥作為醫藥使用，其效用包含治療潰瘍、分娩出血、身體疼痛、腹瀉等。
特別需要提醒，花市或花店購買的泡盛屬於觀賞用，不適合食用，藥用型泡盛的購買與使用需要諮詢專業醫師的建議與指示。
在西方國家的習俗中，泡盛常用於製作新娘捧花，因其代表的涵意是「無論生活中發生任何事，我仍然會在你身邊。」，象徵新人對婚姻的忠貞不渝，因此泡盛另一個翻譯名又稱為「落新婦」。分支上分布的小花，輕盈、柔軟、些微跳動感、充滿仙氣，好似新人對新婚的喜悅和期待。
泡盛應用於花藝設計作品時，線條狀的花莖跟花朵間空氣感，使作品看起來更輕盈，更加地活潑生動。常見的泡盛顏色有白、粉、淺粉等，新娘捧花中常使用白色或淺粉色的泡盛來製作，在捧花中加入煙霧狀的泡盛花，整體氛圍夢幻又唯美，是製造浪漫時刻時非常推薦選用的一項花材。

“Flower Recognition Moment” would like to share with you the ethereal “astilbe,” scientifically known as Astilbe hybrida. It belongs to the Saxifragaceae family and the Astilbe genus, originally native to East Asia and North America. The variety in the picture is the white astilbe.”
Astilbe can be used in traditional medicine for various purposes, including treating ulcers, postpartum bleeding, body pain, and diarrhea.
It’s important to note that astilbe purchased from flower markets or florists is for ornamental purposes and is not suitable for consumption. For medicinal use, it is recommended to consult a professional physician for advice and instructions.
In Western countries, astilbe is often used in bridal bouquets. Its symbolic meaning is “no matter what happens in life, I will still be by your side.” This symbolizes the bride and groom’s unwavering commitment to marriage. Hence astilbe is also known as “Bride” The delicate and slightly fluttering small flowers on the branches exude a fairy-like quality, reminiscent of the joy and anticipation of newlyweds.
When used in floral designs, the slender stems and airy spaces between the flowers of astilbe create a sense of lightness, making the arrangement look more lively and dynamic. Common astilbe colors include white, pink, and light pink. White or light pink astilbe is often used in bridal bouquets. Adding feathery astilbe flowers to the bouquet creates a dreamy and beautiful overall atmosphere, making it a highly recommended floral material for creating romantic moments.
Astilbe can also be naturally dried. It is recommended to hang them upside down in a well-ventilated, indirect sunlight location after about 4-5 days of vase display. After approximately 5-7 days, they will become dried astilbe. This is a great option for those who enjoy making dried flower arrangements.
▌Reminder: Astilbe flowers are prone to dehydration. It is recommended to remove some leaves before placing them in a vase or using them in arrangements to reduce water evaporation. Astilbe prefers a cool environment, so it’s best to place them in a cooler location, such as an air-conditioned room, and avoid environments with dehumidifiers.
