鬱金香，學名Tulipa gesneriana，屬於百合科，鬱金香屬，原產於中亞與北非，圖中品種為荷蘭進口紫色鬱金香。
說起鬱金香，有件歷史著名事件發生在1637年的荷蘭，名為「鬱金香狂熱」事件，此事件為世界上最早的泡沫經濟事件。
當時由鄂圖曼土耳其引進的鬱金香球根，在荷蘭被大量種植，受到全球異常的大量搶購與喜愛，導致其價格異常上漲，沒想到在歷經泡沫化之後，價格驟降，大約僅剩下高峰時的百分之一，使得經濟陷入混亂。
現今鬱金香球根品種多達約5600種，除了最常見的單瓣杯狀型，也有重瓣、花邊型、鸚鵡型等不同花型的鬱金香，品種顏色更是多樣化，除了藍色、布朗尼等為染色鬱金香之外，其餘顏色幾乎皆為天然栽培。
鬱金香獨有的姿態，彎曲的花莖適合在花藝作品中展現線條感，要特別注意的是，鬱金香會因吸水、日照等因素，影響花朵的姿態，推薦大家買鬱金香回家欣賞時，可以每天幫鬱金香拍拍照，觀察花朵的改變，是生活中的小樂趣喔！
⭔ 小提醒: 摘除鬱金香的葉片時，建議橫向地剝除或是修剪，不建議直直地撕下，導致花莖的保護層脫落；另外，鬱金香喜冷，建議放置通風涼水處欣賞，遠離悶熱環境。

Tulips, scientifically known as Tulipa gesneriana, belong to the Liliaceae family and the Tulipa genus. They are originally from Central Asia and North Africa. The one shown in the picture is a purple tulip.
When it comes to tulips, there’s a historically famous event that occurred in the Netherlands in 1637 known as the “Tulip Mania,” the world’s earliest recorded economic bubble.
At that time, tulip bulbs imported from the Ottoman Empire were extensively cultivated in the Netherlands and garnered extraordinary global demand and popularity. This led to an unprecedented rise in prices. However, after experiencing a speculative bubble, prices suddenly plummeted, leaving only about one percent of their peak value, causing economic turmoil.
Today, there are approximately 5600 varieties of tulip bulbs. In addition to the common single-petal cup-shaped type, there are also double-petal, fringed, and parrot-shaped tulips, among others. The variety of colors is also diverse, including naturally cultivated colors such as blue and brownie, excluding those that are dyed.
The unique posture of tulips, with their curved stems, is ideal for showcasing linearity in floral arrangements. It’s important to note that factors like water absorption and sunlight can affect the posture of tulip flowers. It’s recommended that when bringing tulips home for enjoyment, one can take photos daily to observe the changes in the flowers, adding a small joy to life!
⭔ Reminder: When removing the leaves of tulips, it is recommended to peel or trim horizontally rather than tear them straight down, as this can cause the protective layer of the flower stem to peel off. Additionally, tulips prefer cold temperatures, so it is advisable to place them in a well-ventilated cool water area for enjoyment, away from hot and stuffy environments.
