大理花，學名Dahlia pinnata，屬於菊科，大麗菊屬，原產於瓜地馬拉、墨西哥；圖中品種為荷蘭蜜桃大理花。
大理花有著碩大圓球狀的花型，花朵顏色有淺色系、深色系、單色以及漸層色，花型飽滿、色彩多元，非常適合作為各式花藝作品的主花；購買單一品種來瓶插，不一定要搭配其他花材，也非常適合、美觀。
大理花經常運用於農曆春節期間，因同為菊科，菊有「吉」的諧音，有象徵「吉祥」的涵義；大理花華麗的外觀更顯富貴，顏色有紅色、粉色、紫色等，這些顏色都能給人喜氣洋洋的感受，非常適合作為春節花禮使用，

🌱 小提醒：
大理花容易乾涸，因此需要充足的水份，可使用噴水器在花朵的背面適量噴水，補充水份，並且使用剪刀修剪的方式，去除已乾枯的花瓣，從靠近根部附近剪除，以延長花朵壽命。

Dahlia, scientifically known as Dahlia pinnata, belongs to the Asteraceae family and is part of the Dahlia genus. It is native to Guatemala and Mexico. The one shown in the picture is dahlia peaches from the Netherlands.
Dahlias have large, round, ball-shaped flowers that come in various colors, including light shades, dark shades, solid colors, and gradients. Their full and diverse blooms serve as a perfect choice for focal in floral arrangements. You can use a single variety for a vase arrangement, and it doesn’t necessarily need to be paired with other fillers, as it looks quite elegant on its own.
Dahlias are often used during the Chinese New Year because they are also part of the Asteraceae family, and the word for chrysanthemum sounds like “吉” (jí), meaning “auspicious” in Chinese. Dahlias’ splendid appearance bring the image of wealth, available in colors like red, pink, and purple, gives a sense of joy and festivity, making them a great choice for Chinese New Year flower arrangements.

🌱 Reminder:
Dahlias tend to dry out easily, so they require an adequate water supply. You can use a spray bottle to mist the back of the flowers to provide moisture and use scissors to trim away dried petals, trim them close to the base to extend the lifespan of the flowers.
