每到聖誕節，同學們總會許願各式適合聖誕節的材料推薦，這集要跟同學們分享的是「雪松」。雪松整體松葉質感蓬鬆，葉面的形狀為底寬頂尖的聖誕樹樣貌，每到聖誕季節，雪松便成為許多人在製作聖誕花藝作品的愛用材料之一。
雪松，學名Cedrus deodara，屬於松科，雪松屬，原產於喜馬拉雅山。
雪松有著淡淡的松脂清香，提煉而成的雪松精油有滋潤肌膚、舒緩與鎮靜等功效。新鮮的雪松價格親民，可自然乾燥，也能夠製作成為永生花。
雪松的英文名來自阿拉伯Kedron，意思為「力量」，中東地區與埃及地區的人們相信焚燒雪松能帶來平靜的力量、驅除負面能量、淨化身心靈。

Today is Christmas Day in 2023, and for this festive occasion, Flower Recognition Moment would like to introduce you to the versatile floral material “cedar,” particularly popular in various Christmas floral arrangements. The overall texture of cedar needles is fluffy, resembling the shape of a Christmas tree with a broad base and a pointed tip. As the Christmas season approaches, cedar becomes a favored material for many people creating Christmas floral arrangements.
Cedar, scientifically known as Cedrus deodara, belongs to the pine family, specifically the cedar genus, and is originally from the Himalayan region.
Cedar emits a faint pine resin fragrance, and the extracted cedar essential oil has moisturizing, soothing, and calming effects on the skin. Fresh cedar is reasonably priced, can be dried naturally, and can also be preserved into everlasting flowers.
